- פַּחְדָּהf. (b. h.) same. Koh. R. to III, 11 (ref. to העלם ib. ‘the unknown) פַּחְדָּתוֹ של מלאךוכ׳ the fear of the angel of death has he (the Lord) put into their hearts; Midr. Till. to Ps. 9:1 (ed. Bub. פסידתו; Yalk. ib. 642 פסידתו, corr. acc.).
